Lunar Ball

 

To ring in the New Year, the Chinese Student Association hosts an annual banquet for both students and staff to enjoy. Every year, the Chinese Student Association bans with one or two other cultural organizations to bring to campus a festive Chinese celebration. The banquet includes a three course meal as well as various cultural performances for guests to enjoy. In addition to celebrating the Chinese heritage, Lunar Ball also chooses a philanthropic cause to donate all proceeds to. Meal tickets usually range from $20-$25 and previous charities that the Chinese Student Association has donated to include DreamCorps, the World Wildlife Fund, and Relay for Life. The dress code is formal.
