CULTURAL PERFORMANCE & SHOWS
at The University of Michigan
DEM VIET NAM
Đêm Việt Nam is a Vietnamese culture show held annually by The University of Michigan's Vietnamese Student Association. The show highlights some of the most prominent traditional Vietnamese dances as well as modern dances. It is held every year in the Winter semester (end of January/early February). The show features performers from within the organization itself and invites guest performers from outside organizations. All proceeds go to non-profit organizations and wonderful charities.

Testimonials:
"I came into DVN with little knowledge of what it was besides a Vietnamese culture show. I was impressed with the energy and planning that went into the show, and the large crowd there seemed to enjoy it too."
- Roxanne Ilagan
"I thought that the different dances each told a story that contributed to the overall theme of the show, which was aimed at addressing the progression through Vietnamese time periods, and really showcased the evolution of Vietnamese culture in the United States."
