American Culture 352 is a humanities course taught at the University of Michigan that discusses collegiate culture night shows with a focus on Asian/Pacific Islander American communities. As a class, we examine the processes of production and participation to greater understand the meaning of culture night shows throughout these communities. AMCULT 352 exposes students to the tradition, history and presence of culture night shows, beyond their own experiences. A major component of this class is the presentation of a term project that culminates our insight into multiple dimensions of the culture night show experience.
